ESPN.com wrote on Tuesday that Houston Texans wide receiver and future Hall of Fame wide receiver Andre Johnson wants to learn the offense of the Texans after visiting with the organization.
The Texans and Johnson haven’t been not the best of terms this offseason, but maybe all of that is over. Hopefully.
Tania Ganguli wrote about the situation on Tuesday:
“The one person in the organization who handled this exactly as he should have is coach Bill O’Brien. He talked constantly about the respect he has for Johnson and his career.”
It is very good for the Texans to be talking to Johnson again, and if they can get Johnson on the field for training camp, it can only help improve this team.
Like I’ve said all offseason … the Texans and Johnson just need to get this entire situation over one way or another before camp officially begins. If the Texans can get Johnson back in uniform and on the field for them, that is nothing but a plus for the ’14 season.
