Houston Texans Roundup: Is Arian Foster the 'best' running back in the NFL?

Houston Texans offensive tackle Duane Brown was quoted on ESPN.com saying the following about his pal and teammate Arian Foster:

“I think he’s definitely the best back in the league and I think he’s on track to show that this year.”

Do I think Foster is a Top 10 or even Top 5 running back when he is healthy? Yes I do, but the best … I can’t go that far, because there is a certain running back that plays for the Minnesota Vikings who I believe tops the list of running backs in the NFL.

I like reading the fact the Texans seem to be a confident bunch, even with a current regular season losing streak of 14 consecutive games, and having the worst record in the entire NFL last season.

It is a good thing to see the Texans are erasing that miserable season from their collective memories, and focusing on this upcoming season.

I have a lot of respect for Mr. Brown and what he does on the football field, but I can’t agree with him about Foster being the best running back in the NFL.

Thoughts?
