The Texans keep beefing up, this time it’s back to the Defensive Line by selecting Notre Dame nose tackle Louis Nix. This trade was made possible by the letters Q and B and also the Pittsburgh Steelers, through the Cleveland Browns and a stop over with the Philadelphia Eagles. Quite the well traveled choice if I do say so myself. Also a rather necessary one. After several years of quick and explosive yet undersized players the Texans have real bull of a man at the nose tackle position. His knees are a question, as his been under the knife once all ready, let’s hope he can stay healthy.

Take a moment friends and put yourself into the shoes of Andr… no better, Johnny Football. It’s mid November, you circled this date in your phone calendar about 2 minutes after you put on that Browns cap. Now you line up, and see from left to right… Whitney Merciles, Jadeveon Clowney, Louis Nix, Brian Cushing, JJ Watt, Brooks Reed and DJ Swearinger swaggering towards the line out of the corner of your eye. Suddenly your line doesn’t look so big, that Dorito on your shoulder feels like a Frito.

Scared yet?

That’s pretty impressive stuff. Can’t wait to see what Romeo Crennel and Co. do with that lineup.
