On Thursday, May 1, Houston Texans General Manager Rick Smith held his annual pre-draft press conference in front of media members in Houston.

This press conference was held one week before the draft, when the Texans will be selecting No. 1 overall on Thursday, May 8 as they were an NFL-worst 2-14 last season.
