All of us are finally less than a week away from the 2014 NFL Draft, and now the rumors are really starting to generate, and personnel of teams really aren’t saying much.

And just like the Masters golf tournament … it is a tradition unlike any other, for the NFL when football general managers and coaches keep their cards in just a little closer this time of year.

How can’t we love this?

If the draft was today, I would say the Houston Texans keep that No. 1 overall pick, but who they pick, that’s another story. My guess would be South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, but it could be Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.

Will the Texans keep the No. 1 pick?

All of this is just a very interesting situation.

In his pre-draft press conference on Thursday, Texans GM Rick Smith said they’ve fielded offers for the No. 1 overall pick, and still are.

In a post by the Houston Chronicle’s Ultimate Texans blog it states about the situation:

"“Smith is working with a new coach in Bill O’Brien. They’re willing to entertain offers, but it’ll have to be very enticing to get Smith to make a deal.”"

If the Texans do make a trade, you can bet it will be a very good deal for the Texans. That is for certain.

Let’s say the Texans were to trade the No. 1 pick … what do you want the Texans to obtain for that top selection?

Let us know.
