This has been an exciting week for the NFL and Houston Texans football. There has been a lot of talk about the Texans selecting South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney with the No. 1 overall pick.

There has been a lot of talk about if they draft Clowney they could trade him, or the team could draft a quarterback … or the Texans could trade down in the draft and add more picks.

And I didn’t even mention the fact this was the week the Texans and the other 31 teams in the NFL received their complete NFL schedule, as it was released on Wednesday.

FYI: the Texans open the season by hosting the Washington Redskins. Like I said, this has been an interesting week to say the least.

Let’s all hope the next couple weeks are just as exciting as we move closer to the NFL Draft which is in 13 days. I don’t know know about anyone else, but I’m ready for it to begin.
