Houston Texans Roundup (4/18)

Here is some good offseason news for the Houston Texans, they have locked up All-Pro defensive end J.J. Watt through 2015, giving the Texans two more seasons with Watt.

The article by Houston Chronicle reporter John McClain states:

“Realistically, Watt probably won’t reach the fifth year of his original deal because the Texans’ philosophy is to reward their best players with extensions …”

So it looks like the Texans should have Watt wearing No. 99 on their team for a very log time.

Very good move by Houston.

In other Texans news:

• The Texans got the week off for Easter, but in this Ultimate Texans article by the Houston Chronicle, it states the have been bringing in prospects before the draft.

• Here is a nice video of J.J. Watt and his friend Trey from houstontexans.com.
