Houston Texans Roundup (4/17)

There is some good news for the Houston Texans as Brian Cushing tweeted he has been medically cleared.

In an article at CSN Houston, it stated:

“In 2012, his season ended when he tore his ACL on the road against the Jets. Cushing worked his way back and started the 2013 season off strong. But then, he broke his fibula and tore his LCL (same leg) in Week 7 in Kansas City.”

Having Cushing back this season, if he can stay healthy – and this if a big if – will make the Texans’ defense so much better and improved.

They really missed having him around last season, and it showed as the season progressed.

Cushing has played in just 12 games the past two years, and hopefully for the Texans’ sake he’s done with the injury bug and Cushing will play the entire season.
