Houston Texans Roundup (4/11): Arian Foster edition

Maybe the best news of the day for the Houston Texans on Thursday was that starting running back Arian Foster said he is “fine” and plans to participate in OTAs.

In an article in the Houston Chronicle, Foster was quoted as saying:

“I’m fine… I got cleared … so I’m feeling good … It’s not like I’ve got to go prove, I’m not trying to prove anything.”

In an ESPN.com article, it says OTAs are from May 27 to June 13.

This is some very good news for the Texans and fans of the team. What I really like is Foster seems to have the confidence that he’ll need to help the Texans offense get back on track next season.

When healthy, Foster is one of the best running backs in the game … now it is just how his body reacts to the grind of an NFL workload. I hope the best for Foster, because he is one of the more exciting players to watch in the NFL.

In other Texans news:

• Here is an article from House of Houston about Mike Vrabel and how he could help Jadeveon Clowney.

• At CSN Houston, they have an article about Foster and his acting, as he’ll be in the movie “Draft Day.”

NFL.com has an article talking about Foster and him saying his surgery “wasn’t as major as it sounded.”
