CBS Sports had two quarterbacks that are listed as potential second-round quarterback selections. For the sake of conversation, let’s assume the Houston Texans shy away from a QB with the No. 1 overall selection and look for a QB in Round 2. Who are the Texans going to be looking at?

Those two QBs are Fresno State’s Derek Carr and Eastern Illinois’ Jimmy Garoppolo.

Carr (6-2, 214 pounds) is the No. 4 ranked QB on the CBS Sports NFL Draft Prospects list, and Garoppolo (6-2, 226) is the fifth-ranked QB in this draft.

Here is a profile on each of the QBs with my likes, dislikes and what the analysts are saying about the two potential second-round selections.

LOL, Carr wont be around for the Browns at 26 let alone any team in the 2nd round………..As much as many writers try to knock this kid, the scouts arn’t fooled…..He has the BEST arm of ANY QB in the Draft not to mention his overall football IQ…….
