Here are some really nice looking NFL uniform concepts of the Houston Texans designed by Jesse Alkire.
A Fansided article earlier this week wrote about the designs:
“Unlike a lot of ideas we see thrown around, Alkire didn’t stir the pot too much – especially in regards to some of the more traditional NFL uniforms. You aren’t going to see some cartoonish script on a Chicago Bears jersey. You’re not going to see a bunch of color splotches on a 49ers uniform.”
As for the designs of the Texans … I really like them, a lot.
In Alkire’s description of the Texans uniform it says:
“New helmet a manifestation of the team’s primary logo — horns on the left and right, heavy red stripe down the center … More cues from the team’s primary logo throughout, with stars on the sleeves and a horned stripe on the pants.”
What I really like about these uniform concept is the helmet, where it looks like the helmet has horns. I think the look is really sharp.
It takes a lot of talent to make these type of design, and taking a look at every NFL teams redesign is worth taking the time.
Maybe some NFL teams should take a look at them as well.
