Tuesday was a bit of a light day for Houston Texans news with one story being J.J. Watt showing off his hockey skills in a video on You Tube.

Here is the video:

Watt would be a force on the hockey rink, huh? The NHL has been put on notice!

• The Houston Chronicle’s Ultimate Texans blog has an article about how former NFL quarterback Vince Young has a goal of being back in the NFL.

The article states young saying in a press release:

"“I am pleased with the quick resolution of my bankruptcy case. With all these battles behind me, I am able to devote my sole focus on family, football and pursuing all opportunities in front of me.”"

We’ll see. He was fun to watch in college, not so much in the pros, but we’ll see if he has one last comeback left in him this offseason. I don’t see him trying that comeback out in Houston anytime soon.

• Here is an article from CSN Houston about if DeVier Posey is ready to have a breakout season.

The article says:

"“Posey just wasn’t himself last year but is still very talented. As long and he’s healthy, he gives the Texans a very good option.”"

I watched Posey a lot when he was in college and he does have a lot of talent. Now he really does need to stay healthy so we all can see him have success in the NFL.

• Here is another CSN Houston “Break Out” article, this one on Brandon Brooks, the Texans’ right guard. It says:

"“Brooks should become one of the best guards in football. There’s no reason to think he can’t. The 6-5, 335-pound Brooks is probably the strongest member of the team.”"

I’m really interested in seeing how he improves this offseason headed into the ’14 season.
