If this week resembles anything like last week expected a lot of talk on Johnny Manziel, the NFL Draft and possibly more on free agents and the new coaching staff.

But before any of that, Comcast Sports Net has an article on tight end Ryan Griffin and if the 2014 season is the season that he’s ready to breakout.

The article says:

"“Things are looking even better for Griffin in his sophomore season. It seems very likely the Texans will bring back either Owen Daniels or Garrett Graham next season – not both.”"

I will agree in saying Griffin is a surprise from last season, and we should see more of that next season. He finished with 244 yards on 19 receptions and one touchdown let season.

Now the question for the tight ends is who do the Texans keep: Owen Daniels or Garrett Graham?

• Here is a mock draft from NFL SpinZone where they have the Texans drafting Teddy Bridgewater at No. 1 overall.

The article says on Bridgewater:

"“I also don’t buy into the whole ‘Bridgewater isn’t a Bill O’Brien quarterback,’ because that’s essentially saying O’Brien wouldn’t want to draft the most accurate, polished, and smart pocket passer in the draft.”"

Bridgewater is one of my final three choices for the No. 1 overall pick for the Texans.

• The Ultimate Texans reported the Texans have hired former Dolphins asst. GM Brian Gaine.

The article states:

"“The Texans have hired former Miami Dolphins assistant general manager Brian Gaine as director of pro personnel and Daron Roberts as a scout. They also promoted Larry Wright to assistant director pro personnel.”"
