Picks 33-42

Some of these picks I agree with and others I’m left wondering, really?

I made the Mason pick, and if he’s there and the Texans can select him, why wouldn’t the Texans at least think about drafting a very important backup plan to Arian Foster? They really need to get a Plan B in place because it is no guarantee Foster will hold up following his back surgery.

And with Ben Tate leaving the team as a free agent, the Texans must add a running back to the roster, if not in the second round, then no later than round three.

The simulator has Johnny Manziel at 36th overall to the Oakland Raiders. I can see Manziel ending up with Oakland, and they do have a need at QB, but I predict Manziel gets drafted in the first round. The simulator had the Raiders taking Jadeveon Clowney in the first round.

When I wrote my second mock draft of the offseason earlier this week, I had Hasean Clinton-Dix in the first round to the Tennessee Titans, but this simulator has Clinton-Dix going 41st to the Buffalo Bills.
