We still have 15 weeks until the start of the NFL Draft, and there is a lot of talk all over the internet about what should the Houston Texans should do with their No. 1 overall draft pick.

House of Houston had a post with some of the various websites talking about the draft, as they wrote:

"“This week, the hype seemed to revolve around Jadeveon Clowney. Bob McNair started it all by ‘hyping up’ the potential combination of J.J. Watt and Clowney earlier this week. It seems like the idea of drafting a non-QB has picked up over the last week.”"

On the Ultimate Texans site had a report how the Cleveland Browns are willing to move up the draft board for Johnny Manziel. The article stated:

"“The Texans, St. Louis Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars pick ahead of the Browns. In order to move up, Cleveland would likely have to trade both first-round picks or package the No. 4 overall pick with several second and third-day selections.”"

My thought is if the Texans aren’t drafting Teddy Bridgewater with the No. 1 overall selection than they should trade with the Browns, and still get a very quality player for a lot in return to move down a few spots on the draft board.

On the first day of Senior Bowl practice the Official Houston Texans site had an article about the Texans and what they are looking for. The article by Drew Daugherty said:

"“Oklahoma center Gabe Ikard was picked by several publications as a first-team All-American, and played some center and guard on Monday. He also said he’s studied Houston Texans center Chris Myers. ‘In the zone-scheme, he’s the best in the business as a zone-blocking center,” Ikard said.'”"

The Senior Bowl will be a good place to take a look at some potential Texans prospects which we’ll do later this week.
