Zach Mettenberger, QB, LSU

Being 6-5, 235 pounds, Mettenberger is built like a Bill O’Brien type of quarterback.

His analysis on his CBS draft page says:

"“He can drive the ball to the opposite hash, loft the ball over the seam or to the back in the flat and hit receivers streaking down the sideline. Does a nice job of keeping his eyes downfield and steps up to avoid contact. Improved as a senior in keeping his eyes focused downfield when stepping up into the pocket.”"

If Houston doesn’t take a QB in the first round, Mettenberger could be the next QB for the Texans as he seems to possess all the skills needed to run an O’Brien offense.
