Here is my very first attempt at a one-round NFL mock draft for the 2014 NFL Draft this May.

There are some surprises and some picks we all seem to think will happen, but the biggest mystery is who will the Houston Texans take with the No. 1 overall selection.

That pick will set the tone for the draft and shape the draft as to where players will be selected.

I can’t recall a draft where we didn’t know if the team with the No. 1 pick was going to select offense, defense or just trade the selection. That is what we have with the Texans this year.

Anyway, here is the first edition of a one-round mock draft from the Toro Times.

Mason is a 3rd round pick at best. There is not a single RB in this class that should go in RD.1

I think you are correct … but it is the Browns so you never know, haha! I’m guessing in my 2nd try at this next week Mason won’t be in my 1st round.

An OT for Denver when Clady is due back and Franklin and Clark have played so well?

ot for Bears? they took care of that last year and where would he play with Bushrod signed and doing a great job for them? no with the offense taken care of last year this must be a defense only draft for them.
