Let’s start out the day by looking at the latest on the Arian Foster lawsuit from our friends at House of Houston, a Fansided site dedicated to all things Houston sports.

In an article titled: “HoH Sources: Don’t Expect Arian Foster’s Lawsuit To Be Held Up In Court,” it says the following:

"“There is also, two separate matters here that I’ve have not addressed. Civil law and Family law. Norwood’s attorney, Douglas York, is trying to combine two separate courts. Civil and Family law are two completely separate systems in Texas. It’s almost like mixing oil and water. It’s not going to stick.”"

I’m not much up on the law or this entire situation, but it seems unfortunate for the unborn child that will soon be, and basically is involved in this situation. That should be the No. 1 concern here, not money.

Over at ESPN, Tania Ganguli wrote an reaction about Mel Kiper’s projection in his first mock draft of 2014, where he said the Texans would select Johnny Manziel with the No. 1 overall pick.

Ganguli wrote:

"“This would be easily the most interesting and entertaining pick the Texans could make. Many questions remain … How will Manziel’s skill set translate against bigger and faster defenses than he faced in college?”"

I have a lot of questions about Manziel in the NFL as well, but we’ll get into those on another day.
