Make that three Houston Texans headed to the Pro Bowl with offensive tackle Duane Brown added to the Pro Bowl roster, Friday.
Brown joins fellow Texans players Andre Johnson and J.J. Watt as the third Texans to receive the honor. This is the second time Brown has made the Pro Bowl, earning his first trip last season. The Texans OT will replace Jason Peters of the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Pro Bowl will take place on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. EDT from Honolulu, Hawaii. The Pro Bowl Draft with teams being selected by Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders, will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 22 on the NFL Network.
Congratulations to Brown. In a inconsistent offensive line this season for the Texans Brown played consistently well (though not his best season) for the Texans, as his selection give the Texans more Pro Bowl selections (three) than wins this past season (two).
Brown, a two-time NFL All-Pro, started and played in 14 games this past year, missing two games due to injury.
I think Brown is deserving to make the team as a replacement, and it is good to see him make the Pro Bowl for a second consecutive season.
