If the NFL Draft was today, I honestly believe the Houston Texans would draft a quarterback with their No. 1 overall selection in the May NFL Draft.

OK, for argument’s sake, let’s agree the Texans will draft a quarterback with the first pick of the draft, now the question is … Who will the Texans draft at the quarterback position?

There are many QBs who could replace the duo of Case Keenum and Matt Schaub of this past season, but the question is which one?

Here are the current Top 3 QB ranked by CBS Sports on their draft board as more than likely one of the following players will be the next QB of the Texans.

Nice, unbiased article. Those sold on Bridgewater just need to look at 2 things – his competition (he played against no one) and how he reacted to blitzes. First off, none of the CB’s he played against will start in the NFL. Second, watch film on him when being blitzed and he panics, still makes the throws but against UConn like competition. He’s the next David Carr

Bortles is a second round pick that will be taken by someone trying to see what isn’t there. Compares to a Kyle Boller. Plenty of potential but needs a lot of grooming from a true QB coach.

Manziel…QB coach gets a gem. Plenty of progress was made this year in his mechanics. Makes his reads/progressions, then scrambles. His vision/competitiveness is truly unmatched. He has deceptive field speed and arm strength. Old school: compares to Fran Tarkenton/Steve Young.
