Ben Tate vs. the New England Patriots in Week 15

Ben Tate was the toughest player in the entire NFL this season, playing at least seven games with four broken ribs, including a 100-plus yard performance against the New England Patriots.

I still believe the Texans should or will find a way to keep him for next season, because as much as I like Arian Foster, he’s coming off a back injury, and playing the running back position, the question must be asked about how durable is Foster for the remainder of his career.

Against the Patriots, Tate scored three rushing touchdowns with 102 yards on 22 carries. He averaged 4.6 yards in that game against the AFC East champion.

This game proved not only how durable Tate can be, but he also proved how good he is by rushing for 102 yards with the injured ribs.

The game against New England also made Tate a lot more money next season.
