Opening the ’13 season with 2 consecutive wins

If only Texans fans would have known those two wins would have been the only two times the team would win, maybe they would have been celebrated more, because what happened the rest of the season was bad.

The opening season win against the Cardinals was fun because it was on Monday Night Football, and it was a close game with the Texans winning by a 31-28 score over the San Diego Chargers.

Remember the fourth quarter with the Texas scoring two touchdowns and the game-winning 41-yard field goal by Randy Bullock?

There was also an 18-yard interception for a TD by Brian Cushing in that quarter … it was a fun evening, but not much else went the way for the Texans.

The second win of the season against the Titans wasn’t a crisply played game, but the Texans won in overtime with DeAndre Hopkins catching a 3-yard TD pass for the win in overtime.

Lots of bad luck and bad football struck the Texans for the rest of the season, leaving them winless for the remainder of the season.
