Today is finally supposed to be the day for the Houston Texans to officially announce their third head coach in franchise history with the introductory press conference of Bill O’Brien.

Here are photos of O’Brien arriving in Houston with a slideshow from the Houston Chronicle on their Ultimate Texans blog.

This will be an exciting day for the Texans organization and Texans fans, because today will be the first day of chance for a team that just wrapped up a 2-14 season, including 14 straight losses.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle and other members of the Houston media had a quick chat with O’Brien when he landed in Houston, quoting O’Brien as saying:

“I’m excited to be here. This is a great opportunity … We’ll work very hard to field a very competitive team. It’s all about winning. Everything we do as a team will be about winning. Hopefully, we’ll get started real soon.”

Today’s press conference will allow O’Brien to go into more detail about what his plans are for the team.

Here are some end of session power rankings updates as updated by House of Houston. Of course the Texans held onto the 32nd overall spot.
