Missouri has 16 players on the CBS board with six of them being projected in the draft, including Kony Ealy, a defensive end, projected for the first round.

The player I want to preview though is cornerback E.J. Gaines, the ninth rated CB on the list.

Gaines (5-10, 195) is projected to be a second or third round selection.

Being the 79th overall rated player it says of Gaines on his draft page:

“Gaines sports a well-defined build for the position. The combination of his broad-shouldered, long-armed frame and very good overall athleticism makes him a tough draw for any pass-catcher.”

The CB has been timed with a 4.44 40-yard dash.

One of his weakness listed by Rob Rang was:

“Gaines is a classic grab and drag tackler, only occasionally dropping his shoulder to provide an impactful hit.”
