It was announced Sunday the Houston Texans will start Matt Schaub at quarterback against the Tennessee Titans for the regular season finale.

The game in Tennessee will more than likely be the final game for Schaub as the Texans’ starting quarterback.

Case Keenum, is inactive with an injured thumb.

This season, Schaub, entering Week 17, has 10 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions. He’s passed for 2,081 yards in nine games played, including seven starts.

Keenum will end the season with 1,760 yards and nine touchdown passes. He threw six interceptions and had six fumbles. He played in eight games in 2013, with a 54.2 competition percentage.

I don’t know if Keenum did enough to save his starting spot for next season, and for Schaub it looks like he has one last chance to lead the Texans to a victory.

The last time the Texans won a game was Week 2 when they hosted the Titans in Houston. The Texans won by a 30-24 score in overtime. Since the the Texans have lost 13 consecutive games as they have an overall record of 2-13.

Tennessee enters the game at 6-9 overall. A loss by the Texans will guarantee them the No. 1 overall draft pick in the 2014 NFL Draft in May.

Should be an interesting day for sure.
