For Boise State they have three players projected to be selected in the third-fifth rounds, and all three players could potentially be looked at by the Texans.

One is defensive end Demarcus Lawrence who is the 13th rated DE in the draft and the 122nd overall player.

Lawrence, 6-3, 245 pounds, is a red shirt junior who is projected to be selected in the third or fourth round according to the CBS Draft Board.

He’s been timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.73 and was recently selected as a Walter Camp second-team All-American. He was also selected first-team All-Mountain West Conference.

In the draft bio on CBS it says of the defensive end:

"“His sack total this season is already tied for the fifth-most in a single season all-time at Boise State, and his 20.0-career sacks are tied for the seventh-most in school history. His 1.8 tackles-for-loss per game is the country’s second-best mark this season, and he has 19.5 total in 2013. Lawrence’s 67 tackles (34 solo) were tied for the second-most on the team during the regular season.”"

If the Texans decide against selecting Jadeveon Clowney with the No. 1 overall pick, Lawrence could be a nice selection later in the draft. He seems to have nice size and good speed, plus being an All-American can’t hurt his cause at all.
