The Patriots won’t score 40-plus points on the Texans defense

This game is basically the Super Bowl for the Texans today. They need to regain some ounce of pride and think about how they were embarrassed by New England last season, especially in the playoffs. They really need to play for some pride today.

The defense, for the most part, has been one of the few positives lately and with J.J. Watt on your side there is always a chance for the Texans to force the opposing offense into a mistake or two, even Tom Brady.

I know prediction that a team keeping their opponent under 40 points is somewhat sad, and maybe not that bold, but watching the Texans this season, and in three of their past four meetings against the “Brady Bunch,” it is a bit of a bold thing to write.

The Texans better hope the Patriots are still stuffed from Thanksgiving and moving a little slower today.
