In the second quarter the Houston Texans’ running game came back to life as running back Ben Tate, injured ribs and all, rushed for a 20-yard touchdown, then putting the Texans ahead by a 17-10 score with 1:48 left in the first half.

Watch the third-and-one play by Tate as his blocks are set up perfectly and he breaks a tackle attempt around the 8-yard line for the six point rush.

Even DeAndre Hopkins gets in on the blocking, slowing u the Patriots’ defender long enough for Tate to reach the end zone.

This is just a fun play to watch for a team that has had so many offensive struggles this season. This is also fun to see Tate have some success as he’s battled his tail off the season for the Texans, playing injured basically for the past couple months.

Tate is showing the entire NFL he’s capable of being a No. 1 running back, and some team will pay him a very good wage next season for his services as he’ll be a free agent once the season is complete. This run is one of those reasons why.
