Key 1: Better Pass Protection

The Texans’ offensive line must have better pass protection if they even think they can get a win this week. Their running protection has been OK, but the pass protection has been problematic as of late.

With the way they were unable to stop the defensive scheme of the Oakland Raiders last week, head coach Gary Kubiak was forced to not only replace Case Keenum (still a bad decision), but change the way he was calling his offense as well. Not a good combo during a game.

The pass protection must improve today or a win is out of the question, because if Keenum is getting pressured the Texans won’t be scoring any points. The offense only will go as far as their pass protection.
