For the Houston Texans, the biggest news of Friday was losing cornerback Kareem  Jackson for a second consecutive week.

With and without Jackson the texans have been unable to win, but if the Texans were to lose at him this Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, well I would think Reliant Stadium wouldn’t be a fun place to play football.

House of Houston, Friday, wrote about the Texans’ signing of Justin Rogers.

“Justin Rogers was a 7th round pick in the 2011 draft by the Buffalo Bills. Rogers started five games for the Bills this season, recording 23 tackles and 1 interception. With Kareem Jackson banged up and Brice McCain having a terrible season, the Texans hope Rogers can provide a spark in the secondary.”

The official Houston Texans site, in their weekly “5 Things to Watch” article, Drew Daugherty wrote:

“Kubiak in the Booth- For the second consecutive week, head coach Gary Kubiak will be high atop Reliant Stadium in the coaches booth. Still on the mend from suffering a mini-stroke on November 3, Kubiak’s doctors told him he can’t coach from the sidelines.”

The Houston Chronicle’s John McClain had a post on Ultimate Texans about Andre Johnson nearing a career milestone of 900 receptions. McClain wrote:

“Receiver Andre Johnson needs 10 catches against Jacksonville to tie him with Marvin Harrison for the fastest to 900 in NFL history.”
