Texans vs. Colts: 5 Bold Predictions

Game time is nearly here, and with that, I have “5 Bold Predictions” for the Houston Texans’ game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football.

Here are my predictions.

Andre Johnson will score a touchdown: The No. 1 target of the Texans’ offense has yet to score a touchdown this season, and following their bye week this is the time for Andre Johnson to reach the end zone for his first touchdown of 2013. In fact, I’m even going to go on and say he’ll score two touchdowns in this game.

Arian Foster won’t be a big factor: This one I hope I’m 100-percent wrong, but hamstring injuries are tricky to recover from. If Foster can stay healthy in this game he’ll do fine, I just don’t see him being his old self, that’s all. But again, I want to be wrong on this account.

Trent Richardson will have his “breakout” game for the Colts: It is about time for Richardson to prove his worth for this team after they traded a first round pick for the running back. Following their bye week, it is about time Richardson has a very good game for the Colts. The national stage is the best way to make the Colts look like they made the right choice.

J.J. Watt and Andrew Luck won’t meet up on the field: Since these are bold predictions, I’m going to say this will be yet another game where Watt will be held without a sack. The future of the NFL (Luck) won’t have to meet up with Watt in this game.

Colts will win this game: I don’t know if this is bold or not, but I’m picking the Colts to win this one and move another game ahead of the Texans in the standings. The Colts will win this game by a 31-17 score.
