Since the Houston Texans are on a bye week, and since they have just eight regular season games remaining, I figured why not just have a little fun and predict the remaining games on the schedule.

Once the regular season is over, we’ll came back and take a look at how I did.

As of this writing the Texans are on their bye week and have an overall record of 2-5, with the five losses coming consecutively entering the bye week. They are in third place in the AFC South, trailing the Indianapolis Colts (5-2) and the Tennessee Titans (3-4).

Houston’s two wins have come against the San Diego Chargers and the Titans during the first two weeks of the season. The ’13 season has been a disaster thus far, and I don’t see a lot of hope in the coming weeks that would give me a reason to put the Texans in the playoffs following Week 17.

Here are my predictions for the remainder of the season with a short reasoning why.
