In the weekly Fansided.com NFL power rankings by writers and editors of the site, the Houston Texans are now ranked 22nd overall this week.
The Texans, now at 2-4 overall, are coming off a weekend where they lost to the St. Louis Rams by a 38-13 score, their fourth consecutive loss of the year. The other three losses came against the Baltimore Ravens, the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers. In two of those four games the Texans were held without a touchdown.
The Denver Broncos are ranked No. 1 by Fansided, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs, the Seattle Seahawks, the New Orleans Saints and the New England Patriots.
AFC South rankings included the Indianapolis Colts (4-2) at No. 7, the Tennessee Titans (3-3) at 16th and the 0-6 Jacksonville Jaguars at 32nd.
I like where the Texans are ranked more on this list than other lists I’ve seen. The Texans, with the way they’ve played this season, don’t deserve to be ranked in the Top 20, and they’ll have to prove themselves and play their way back into the Top 20 of the rankings.
