Texans vs. Rams: Game information and series history

The Houston Texans are scheduled to host the St. Louis Rams this Sunday at 1 p.m. EDT (12 p.m. CDT) at Reliant Stadium in Houston.

Both teams are 2-3 overall entering the game with the Texans’ two wins coming in the first two games of the 2013 season against the San Diego Changers and Tennessee Titans. Since then, the Texans have lost three straight games.

Houston hasn’t scored a touchdown in two of their previous three games.

For the Rams, their two wins in the ’13 season have come against the Arizona Cardinals in week one and in week five against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They’ve won their games by a combined 17 points.

For this game, which will be aired on FOX, the announcing crew will be play-by-play man Chris Myers and analyst Tim Ryan.

The game will be aired on Direct TV’s NFL Sunday Ticket channel 706.

NFL Audio will have live radio coverage of the game, and NFL Rewind will allow fans to watch the replay of the game following the conclusion of Sunday Night Football.

The last time these two teams played was on Dec. 20, 2009 when the Texans defeated St. Louis, 16-13. The overall series is tied at 1-1. Their other meeting was on Nov. 27, 2005 when the Texans lost a home game to the Rams, 33-27 in overtime.
