Houston Texans inside linebacker Brian Cushing spoke to the Houston media Friday about the concussion he suffered last week.

Here are some of the comments Cushing had regarding the injury, as he’s listed as probable to play this Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers, on the road.

The game will be played on NBC with Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth calling the action on national television.

Cushing did say “(I) pretty much assumed the whole time I would be (back on the field). Obviously, I’m excited to play. I don’t want to miss a game.”

The inside linebacker said he’d never dealt with a concussion before. Here are more comments from the linebacker.
