Houston Texans starting quarterback Matt Schaub continued to be the topic of conversation Wednesday, as the team prepared to face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night at Candlestick Park.

For Schaub, he’s received support from his head coach Gary Kubiak, and his teammates, as they’ve rallied behind the quarterback following two consecutive losses. The 2-2 Texans believe in their quarterback, so unless something drastic happens this Sunday there probably will not be a change at the quarterback spot for sometime time to come.

The Texans seem to be all-in with Schaub this season, so the overall play from the QB must improve moving forward.

Most of the reporting centered around Schaub yesterday, but there is also news that tackle Duane Brown is closer to returning back to the starting lineup following his turf toe injury. Since Brown has left the starting lineup with the injury, the Texans have lost two straight games.

Here are today’s Texan’s Links.
