It is almost time to put last week behind us, almost, but we kind of have to because the Houston Texans face a big challenge this weekend on NBC’s Sunday Night Football when they travel to the West Coast to take on the San Francisco 49ers this weekend.
The 49ers enter the game at 2-2 as they most recently defeated the St. Louis Rams last Thursday night.
Both the Texans and 49ers were selected as Super Bowl contenders during the preseason, but thus far neither one of the teams have played up to their preseason hype.
The Texans are recently coming off consecutive losses to the Baltimore Ravens and most recently a 23-20 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
