Not sure if this is good or bad news, but Houston Texans No. 1 wide receiver Andre Johnson had limited participation in practice, Thursday.

Also limited in practice three days before their game on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks was left tackle Duane Brown, tight ends Owen Daniels and Garrett Graham, safety Ed Reed and left guard Wade Smith.

Daniels doesn’t have an injury as he was limited in practice for rest reasons. Brown is still healing a turf toe injury, and Johnson is recovering from a bruised shin suffered in last week’s loss to Baltimore.

Graham is recovering from hip and groin injuries, while Reed still is limited with his own hip injury and Smith is nursing a knee. Reed made his season debut last weekend.

Like last week, the Texans really need Brown to return to the starting line up if for nothing else for consistency on the offensive line. If Johnson is unable to return to play against the top-ranked defense this weekend, the offense could be in for even more inconsistencies once again. Houston didn’t score a touchdown last Sunday.

Four Texans didn’t participate in practice as they were inside linebacker Tim Dobbins (hamstring), cornerback Kareem Jackson (illness), cornerback Jonathan Joseph (toe) and inside linebacker Darryl Sharpton (hip/foot).

Eight players were listed on the injury report with full practice participation, including starting quarterback Matt Schaub who was listed with an ankle injury.

Also on the list in full participation were Brian Cushing (knee/ankle), Arian Foster (thumb), Brice  McCain (knee), Chris Myers (back), Derek Newton (knee/calf), DeVier Posey (achilles) and Ben Tate (shoulder).

Seahawks had three players listed on the did not participate list on Thursday, including tackle Breno Giacomini (knee), safety Jeron Johnson (hamstring) and running back Spencer Ware (ankle).

Limited in practice were defensive tackle Jordan Hill (biceps) and center Max Unger (arm).

Full participation in practice with injuries listed were: defensive end Michael Bennett (groin), cornerback Brandon Browner (hamstring), defensive end Red Bryant (back), wide receiver Jermaine Kearse (ankle), running back Marshawn Lynch (not injury related), linebacker Malcolm Smith (hamstring) and guard J.R. Sweezy (back).
