Looking Ahead to Week 3

The Houston Texans have started the season 2-0 and remain the only unbeaten team in the AFC South. While both of Houston’s wins were anything but pretty, starting the season win no losses is crucial for the Texans. The next three games coming up on Houston’s schedule are going to be tough match up’s. Next week, the Texans will travel to Baltimore to take on the Super Bowl champion Ravens.

The Ravens are coming off of a very ugly win over the Cleveland Browns and will be looking to “right their ship” next week against the Texans. Houston can not start the game against Baltimore like they did against San Diego and Tennessee. If they come out flat in the beginning of the game, Baltimore is going to put them away early.

Houston is going to have to dial-up their defense to stop Joe Flacco and the Ravens’ high potent offense. I will be looking for Brian Cushing and J.J. Watt to be on top of their game next week. Both Cushing and Watt must get Houston’s defense ignited from the start of the game. If Houston can keep Baltimore’s offense at bay, they should have no problem winning this game.
