Houstontexans.com is reporting Houston Texans No. 1 wide receiver Andre Johnson left Sunday’s game due to a possible concussion.

As reported by Texans writer Drew Dougherty, Johnson was injured on a hit by Tennessee Titans safety Bernard Pollard. The injury came on a 21-yard completion in the second half.

Houston won the game, 30-24 in overtime to improve to 2-0 overall.

The injury to Johnson isn’t good news for the Texans, because Johnson is a big weapon for the Texans’ offense.

Not playing in the full game, Johnson still managed to eight receptions for 76 yards. Johnson has been held scoreless the first two games this season, but still has 12 receptions for 146 yards in two games this season.

Johnson is averaging 12.2 yards per catch with his longest catch being 27 yards.

Next for the Texans is an away game on Sunday, Sept. 22 in Baltimore against the Ravens, who are 1-1 overall this season. On Sunday the Ravens defeated the Cleveland Browns, 14-6, as they scored all of their points in the second half.
