Okine off PUP list

The Houston Texans removed defensive lineman Earl Okine off the active/PUP list following passing his physical exam, Sunday.

Okine is a 23-year old, 6-6, 286 pound rookie defensive lineman from the University of Florida.

The DE was signed by the Texans on May, 10. At UF, he played in 42 games in his collegiate career. In tat span he totaled 27 tackles, 2.5 for loss an one sack.

Okine also had one sack, one blocked field goal and broke up a pass in his time at UF.

During his senior season, Okine, played in all 13 games for the Gators, totaling 12 tackles and the aforementioned blocked field goal, which was a 45-yard attempt by Vanderbilt.
