It has been reported that Arian Foster has an irregular heart beat, causing him to be pulled from the Texans-Colts matchup yesterday. Everyone can experience an irregular heartbeat from time to time which is caused by stress, too much exercise, nicotine and or caffeine. An irregular heartbeat can be minor, but if it prissiest and the heart beat occurs more frequently and at higher a faster speed, it may lead to hospitalization. These conditions are often associated with heart disease.

The most likely scenario is the Foster has been working hard and stressing his mind and body as the playoffs approach. With one game left and home field advantage to play for, Ben Tate and Justin Forsett should take the bulk of the carries as Foster rests.

Foster had been struggling all game against the Colts, so it was no surprise for him to be spelled by Ben Tate when their wasn’t anything left for. Especially when your averaging 1.5 yards per carry on 10 rushes. As one announcer noted, the Texans had “Tapped Out”. Matt Schaub was eventually pulled for back up T.J. Yates as well. Foster was then noted to be pulled for the medical condition, so pulling him was a necessity.
