As of December 20th, The Houston Texans release running back Jonathan Grimes, previously of the New York Jets. With his release, the Texans confirm they are confident with Ben Tate and Justin Forsett. Grimes only had to carries for 6 yards with the Jets; he did not record a single carry for the Texans.

Tate has had health issues but has proven to be a valued spell back last season. Forsett has proven big play ability when everyone thinks he’s down and the referees forget to blow the whistle and rule him down, as well as when head coaches are penalized by a horrendous rule.

Watch that here.
