We are starting a new weekly article today in which we will compare a fantasy football team, to a team consisting completely of Houston Texans. In the example the team will consist of a quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, a tight end, a defense, a kicker, and a flex player (WR/RB/TE). We will use a stock Yahoo! scoring system in the example as well.

The Houston Texans would have scored 113 points had you started a team of:

QB- Matt Schaub
RB- Arian Foster
RB- Ben Tate
WR- Andre Johnson
WR- Kevin Walter
TE- Owen Daniels
RB/WR/TE- Garrett Graham
K- Shayne Graham
DEF- Houston

That was good enough to beat a team composed of:

QB- Matthew Stafford
RB- Ray Rice
RB- C.J. Spiller
WR- Hakeem Nicks
WR- Calvin Johnson
TE- Aaron Hernandez
RB/WR/TE- Dez Bryant
K- Greg Zuerlein
DEF- San Fransisco

By 45 points.

The Texans were undeniably the best team in the league last week and the fact that they played extremely well as a team led to statistics that were good enough to defeat the super team listed above. Perhaps after the bye it would be a good idea to trade for a team of Texans in your fantasy leagues.
