J.J. Watt Named AFC Defenesive Player of the Month

J.J. Watt has been hands down the best defensive player to ever play for the Texans this season.

Watt started the season on an absolute heater. He’s played like a man possessed as very few 3-4 defensive ends have ever had the success rushing the passer as he has.

Not only does he lead the league in sacks, Watt has caused quarterbacks to have nightmares with his ball-swatting skills as well.

It’s not too unbelievable to say that if Watt continues on the current hot streak he has he could be named not only Defensive Player of the Year, but Most Valuable Player as well.

Many people wondered what the Texans would do this season defensively without Mario Williams. J.J. Watt has answered that question emphatically this season and have a majority of fans saying that we are better off without him.

Watt is the best defensive player on the best defense in the league and we look forward to many more highlights and accolades coming his way.
