Last week saw an unfortunate injury to an area lacking in depth for the Texans: safety, Quentin Demps.
With Demps set to miss considerable time the Texans signed a familiar face, who, some would say, shouldn’t have been cut from the team to begin with. Whether he should have been cut or not is no longer relevant as the Texans made the decision to sign him back after he was cut by the Dolphins.
John Beck on the other hand was the odd man out as the Texans chose to continue the season with only two quarterbacks on the 53-man roster. The Texans still have Case Keenum on the practice squad, so if for some reason the Texans need to bring in another they likely wouldn’t need to go re-sign Beck.
Troy Nolan should see a significant amount of play time on Monday Night at both safety spots filling in for Danieal Manning and Glover Quin Jr.
