Rashad Butler entered training camp as the heir-apparent to Eric Winston. Derek Newton pushed him all preseason, however, and eventually was named the starter last week. The news just got worse for Butler as on Thursday night he tore his triceps causing him to miss the remainder of the season. It is the second straight year in which the Texans lost Butler to a triceps injury. The new swing tackle is Andrew Gardner, but the Texans appear to be in the market to add a veteran tackle after the cuts have been made at 8 o’clock tonight.
