Texans Make First Roster Cuts

Not many of the players that were cut form the 90 man roster were real surprises with perhaps the exception of Nick Mondek due to the fact that the Texans spent a draft pick on him this year, and Brett “the hitman” Hartmann. However, the Texans figure to be able to get both of those guys back on their practice squad after the waiver process.

It should be noted the Texans also moved fifth-round pick, Randy Bullock to the IR and that the Texans have to cut the roster again from it’s current 75 to 53 on August 31.
