HOUSTON — Houston coach Gary Kubiak found “some ugly” when he broke down a replay of the Texans’ victory to open the preseason.

The only notable injury the Texans suffered in their 26-13 preseason victory at Carolina involved nose tackle Shaun Cody.

It’s true, but a big part of it involved the personnel. You didn’t see much of running back Arian Foster, and receiver Andre Johnson wasn’t active.
