Matt Schaub is back in the swing of things and has nearlyrecovered from his foot injury. With a full training camp this summer and a more experienced foundation, plus a couple of young receivers added to the mix, the Texans’ offense is primed for improvement. Of course this is assuming that the offensive line is able to overcome the departures of Eric Winston and Mike Brisiel.
The Texans have also added former Cowboys cornerback Alan Ball and veteran running back Justin Forsett of the Seahawks. The Texans were smart in bringing in Ball, who has a good relationship with his former coach and Texans Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips. Wisely and steadily the Texans continue to deepen their roster with contracts they can manage under the NFL’s hard salary cap.
